For the blinds, 90% of landlors buy stuff from HD or Lowes, so if he claims its from another source, ask for a previous receipt where he bought the blinds and do a re-order.

I just buy a cheap shower rod from HD, and have a supply of $2 shower curtains (from the dollar store)  for my rentals to change out after each tenant.

The heating and cooling seems to cause the vinyl to expand and contract (especially under rugs and piles of laundry where the floor is insulated from room air)   It was especially bad with the adhesive edged LVP we got from HD.

My question is should I try to install LVP Lifeproof floors from HD by myself with the help of some friends on a couple days or should I pay someone 1,100 to install the floors for me? 

I bought a 2 family in NYC a fee years ago and its time i renovate the kitchen... not sure if HD is the most cost effective.

C) look for packaged deals from chain retail shops like HD, Lowe's?

I attribute it to the 'feeling out' phase similar to that awkward Blu-ray vs HD-DVD time.
