I know you mentioned that your in TX and like that state but I have have alot of luck in NC outside the major cities in secondary cities like Wilson / Rocky Mount NC.

Marcus, I am sure your probably aware but there is a cool Ride that starts on the West coast I think in Oregon and ends up in the Great plains all on dirt tracks going through the all the Awesome open spaces of the North West and through the Deserts and Rockies..

Many markets became "Known" for purchasing an Airbnb (Florida, Rocky Mountains, etc.). because of that many people went out and purchased homes and put them on Airbnb (hell I even had a condo in Florida under contract to do this, luckily it fell through).Too many people doing this means travelers had more options, means occupancy rate goes down.2.

Well.... it just makes me wonder how big that rock is one must be living under to say "expenses going up doesn't effect price of consumer" because literally EVERYTHING has had this happen the last few years of price shooting up with the explanation expenses went up. 

Federal lands come right down basically to the city limits and subdivisions are nestled right up against them.. so you could sprawl there.out east there are very few federal lands close to housing .. so that makes zero sense.It only works in the West from Rockies to the Pacific and select areas.

I found a meetup in Little Rock I was gonna go to but if theres closer groups that would be an easier drive for sure.  

Too risky for the government to tell you what you can and can't do with your rental.Our house would be in the Rockies in north Idaho on Lake Coeur d'Alene.Winter is pretty spotty for us.

@Ashley Wolfe you've done a REALLY nice job on a VERY limited budget, wish I could drop this cabin the Colorado Rockies! 

I especially like the rural areas like Rocky Point.
