It may cost you a few hundred bucks, a guy will come over with a collector that he'll leave there for a while (almost like a radon test) or he'll just vacuum samples from your carpet in several rooms. 

Repairs under FW have been more than 4k. 2 Fuel pumps and a Vacuum switching unit. 

However, the best example is that airlines no longer are allowed to ask for proof that a service animal is required.Plus, because the use of service animals have extended so far beyond the previous scope of assistance animals, it becomes a quagmire as you get into situations where diabetics use dogs that can detect an oncoming blood sugar crisis before a blood test; people with seizure disorders have dogs who can detect an oncoming seizure, which medical science can't outside of an MRI/CAT/EMG; and therapy animals used to calm people with emotional &/or psychological disorders.  

The windows get extra wet and prone to mold if we don't clean them constantly, for example, and extra energy from having to vacuum spider webs off the ceiling from bugs getting in so easy from poor sealing around windows and doors.  

For kids, for vacuuming stairs, for old knees, etc.

You do need to be careful as even the act of asking what disability the animal is helping with can be a violation as even TSA and airlines do not have the right to ask that.

I say, "Well, it gives you a place to stack boxes or store other things like mops or brooms or vacuum cleaners or whatever."

What should be withheld if, for example, the refrigerator is dirty, or the cabinets aren't wiped out, or the carpets aren't vacuumed?

We do not drain our hot tub after every guest, but we do test and adjust the chemicals, vacuum it (sand) and skim the top if needed after every guest.
