I will concede that I do not invest in those areas and cannot back that opinion though.

If you concede anything to him that's ammunition if he wants to come back later and sue you.  

I guess I can concede a discount since they are a referral, neighbors know them, etc...but not a massive $500 discount...max meet half way. 

Should I ask them to concede part of their commission?

If you must concede however, you can still do the deal. 

While I feel like a huge failure for conceding to bankruptcy (we  worked so hard to always pay every single bill on time without fail and maintained 711 credit score until filing) the stress of the rat race was affecting our sanity and health. 

That the seller must concede in writing in the assignment of the contract.Is this a normal thing to have in the purchase and sale agreement?
