If the cameras are going to alert them every time someone is coming over and they are going to bother you about who is there and why, I would suggest looking into more traditional cameras that are recording/transmitting without sending alerts.

We have an online hand coded application system that captures the information from the prospect, stores it as a PDF file on our server (so SSN's, etc. aren't being transmitted via email) and keeps all info in permanent database so we have one login page to see every applicant we've ever had.
