I have decided to just bite the bullet and concede here, as it's not worth holding the deal up, at least to me, for one room (it doesnt help that the seller is overseas until the night before closing..) - we are too close to the close (next wed) and I have reasons for why I'd to stick to that date more or less.

The issue is I have to actually get the property :)The seller said she isn't interested in owner financing but did concede that she may work with something temporary.I'm looking for advice on an offer to make the owner financing attractive for the seller. 

If you are being aggressive with your list price then the bank might require you to concede on the list price anyways.

If the buyers agent and your agent are so pushy for you to accept this, ask them to concede some of their commission toward the credit. 

Even if you conceded that the tree was diseased (which I'd be suspicious of), you may not be allowed to remove it or make major adjustments to it without asking the city first. 

The original proposal wanted to limit landlords from viewing a tenant's income and establish legal counsel for tenants, however KC Tenants had to concede those two issues.

If you can concede something small to make them happy, just do it to keep this from escalating.

But in order for this boring complication to enter the picture, you will have to become as detail-oriented as Eamonn (hardly possible) and concede that your $120k sale includes the new carpet, so the sale price has to be allocated between the property and this carpet.

For sake of argument, however, I'll concede that there will always be a government presence, and I look to find ways to limit regulation and restriction to the least amount possible in order to promote creativity, free enterprise, and growth.
