Maybe the up and coming areas such as Mountains Edge, Blue Diamond area would be great to invest in.

Also, new light fixtures would update it.To add to the curb appeal, after pressure washing the outside I would paint the shutters and doors a brighter more inviting color maybe in the red or blue family. 

As far as cameras go, I know here in Baltimore the police can install cameras on top of light poles with a bright blue blinking light to monitor.

Select them from there and their name appears highlighted in blue and they will be notified that they were mentioned in a post.
