I want to invest in a condo in Montreal, but have not had success finding a DSCR lender in Canada or an American hard money lender that will loan in Canada.

One thing we all need to keep in mind is we're not long removed from the most absurd sellers market (mid 2020 through mid 2022) in American history, so we may have a skewed view of what a buyer's and seller's market actually are.

Now since I have personally sat with well over 100 homeowners that were in foreclosure to discuss their situations and to acquire their property ( that was the mission after all) Folks get into this jam for all sorts of reasons its just the human condition and a basic issue of many Americans cant control their spending or budget their money.

I honestly spent so much time obsessing over the affordable housing chrisis...buying middle class American homes and renting them out terrifies me.

This is a situation similar to that of so many European and North American cities a like.
