What information was available was in PRINTED form; the local MLS put out a book updated MONTHLY that contained listings, with no pictures, no hard information, just the listing brokers description of the property and the asking price.

I think the biggest reason they feel quiet is because the long time users got fed up with all the repetitiveness that came in the 2021-2023 boom from all the newbies thinking they would print money in real estate, combined with very few people viewing real estate as a way to print money anymore.
