I'm not saying you don't have a say in the matter, it is after all your money and you have a right to decide what you will pay for and how much BUT.... you have hired a real estate agent and good one at that (you said so yourself) that has given you sound advice, not based on a whim, not based on 'web searches', not based on emotion but based on their experience (aka why you hired them) and you decided you knew best.
