On top of hours combing through listing and analyzing deals and visiting potential properties, I have struggled with getting a house under contract and securing a deal. 

I immediately bought the 3 day workshop class which I haven't yet attended and I have been combing through the BP website and podcasts.

He has a method where you build a buy box by analyzing top performers in the market, comb through the market looking for them, and then set up searches for your buy boxes so you create a steady stream of listings that fit your buy box without wasting time or forgetting to go back and look at that market you were interested in a few weeks ago. 

If I am buying a house and find out later that things are going on that the seller didn't tell me, I am going to bring my A+ team to comb through every single inch before buying it.

Our solution is "Do all the work on the front end" - we vet the applicants internally and go through their info with a fine-toothed comb.

I have a deal l am looking at, and am currently trying to comb through all the numbers and do all the research I can to vet it.

Regarding the property condition, thats on the inspection report and hopefully you went through it with a fine tooth comb.
