It can be kind of like a roller coaster.  

Real estate investing is a roller coaster, and all sorts of things (good and bad) occur that no real estate book or podcast or forum post can really prepare you for... but, moral of the story: when it comes to deaths in properties, it's definitely worth thinking about--because people have very wide-ranging reactions to it (everything from complete indifference to complete unwillingness to have anything to do with the house).

But the emotional roller coaster has almost done me in!

It's been a bit of a roller coaster with our city council. 

Plenty of knives and forks, spatulas, a strainer, toothbrush holders, iron and ironing board, coat rack or hangars in the closet, coasters on the end tables.....all of it!

I have several existing and new clients who foresee opportunity "in dirt" and simply aren't willing to go on the stock market roller coaster for what will surely be a long ride.
