An almost unanimous response from Avery's guests has been start now and start earlier.

DC, PG and MoCos county councils passed theirs with unanimous votes and no one really lobbied the other side. 

Response has been overwhelming, and I  believe the vote in each jurisdiction has been reached with unanimous consent from each county council.

You could but the operating agreement would generally say that you need unanimous or super-majority consent to amend the operating agreement.

That said, in any group-sponsor investment there is exposure to market risk and sponsor quality.Your challenge lies in the TIC's unique feature of requiring unanimous consent. 

I want to be able to have multiple family members own the property, but what I want to avoid is a partial owner trying to force the sale at market value without unanimous agreement from shareholders.
