I do also think diversification is critical as well an dont want to be 95% in RE even though at times it seems like the right thing to do.My plan is to continue to fund my 401k for 2-3 more years, then roll into a solo 401k when I go self employed.

This is not a very large pro as the diversification of 2-3 is enough to cover downside risk of placing all in one, of course, it all depends on how well you are able to buy which is key.
