Hello,I purchased an investment property in Largo, Florida about two years ago.My tenant called me a few days ago and noted she heard a cracking sound and the tile's in the entry way started to lift.I got a foundation contractor to come out to the house and he noted I have raveling soils as well as many other houses in my area and that my foundation is slightly compromised.

Don't compromise on any of your acceptance policies just because it looks like easy money.

As an attempt at compromise, we moved the family's belongings into the garage and changed the locks on the doors into the house. 

Preference wise, we would like to be more hands-off since our current job is busy, we are okay with compromising short term cash flow with long term appreciation.

This would compromise security a little but it would take a while to dismantle after drilling out the bolts.  

The simple trick that worked for me without compromising my lifestyle (for the most part).

Refinancing seems to come with so many compromises. 

Overall "North Dallas" and Texas in general are pretty safe.Im thinking you'll have to compromise on something on your list.

With that being said, our compromise is to find a house with an ADU or mother-in-law apartment in the basement that can be rented to offset a large chunk of the mortgage.We’re currently pre-approved and have been looking at properties that are matching our criteria.

As a result, the hesitation has mainly originated from realtors who were not willing to wait for the deal to close under our exacting standards.We have actually addressed this issue over the last year, making several steps to streamline our process, but never to the point of compromising our values.
