Same, but a different Series-LLC, for flipping (since flipping is active business and you don't want to mix it with the passive Series-LLC asset holding only one) since it's recommended that you leave dormant your LLC after you sell the flip (which could prove to be costly if done with traditional LLCs) so if there any problems after the sell you don't periclitate the other flips you might be doing.Plus, for taxation purposes, you might want the holding one to be a pass-through, while the flipping one be taxed as an S-corp.As for when, do it when you have enough equity and/or cash flow to protect.

All you did was move it from a liquid state, that could get you multiple uses and returns, to a dormant state, that gets you only one return....and like I said in my first post, I hope all those benefits were worth it to you, because it cost you thousands and thousands of dollars more than what it should have.
