You do have to be aware of cultural differences and other challenges:- In other countries, workers ALWAYS take their birthdays off- You should inquire about & respect local holidays- Timezone differences of more than 2-4 hours, can lead to mysterious "sick" days.

My general question to all bigger pockets members is as follows: If the bad publicity created by movies such as “San Andreas” and stigmas produced in our culture about the San Andreas fault/1989 Loma Prieta earthquake do not reduce the prices of California real estate currently, how should investors, homeowners, etc. in Oregon, Washington and California feel about the Juan de Fuca plate/the Cascadia Fault expected earthquake to be the big one?

There's a lot of variation within that and the long-term outlook for each neighborhood is not the same.It's not uncommon to find 100 year old houses in E, S and W San Antonio, which may be good for you if that means more demand for property inspections - I'd be interested to hear your perspective.San Antonio has a unique identity with the Missions and a strong Latin culture.

You can undercut your employees, your team, sacrifice the culture in order to drive more profit but ultimately you will pay through employee turnovers, slow productivity and conflict management which costs MORE money to fix.Friends, remember this… It ALWAYS costs more to react to problems than to prevent problems early on.
