However i've learned a lot of lessons in this real estate game, one being throughly check out contractors, some of them are shady and will give you a good front and and tell you all the things and have referrals, but still without doing proper due diligence, sometimes it can bite you in the butt.

But I've read many versions of the theory that STR / Airbnb has (until recently) been largely an amateurs game.

You don't need to hit a grand slam in your first at bat in order to play the game. 

Arcades, saunas, hot tubs, projector screens with video games, fire pits, murals (for IG) bikes and toys - whatever delivers a home away from home experience that likely could not be replicated at a hotel/motel. - Design.
