I just try to temper some of the tax hype to remind people that it’s generally quantitatively correct (unless you’re chasing a bad deal) and also to consider qualitative issues (i.e., does this AirBnB make sense for my life) and not force tax to drive the decision.

They seriously overpromised in the beginning to get you excited and sign up, but after a couple of weeks, the reality didn’t match the hype.
