Get a property management system that is API connected (software connected) to both Airbnb and VRBO (and Google Vacation, booking.com, etc)That will become the mitochondria of the business. any update you make in the PMS will reflect in your listing for the other platforms (channel manager).Each of the booking platforms have different fees collected so you'll adjust the management fee in the system so that you get a similar payout.I use JURNY, a little known system that's I've used for 2 years to manage nearly 20 properties. but I love it because it connects to Autohost so I get automated leases sent out for signature (yes, even on Airbnb and VRBO) along with ID collection, SELFIE, credit card deposit and then the AI tool kicks in and detects for fraud. 

Short-term rentals here require a city permit, and with talks of current restrictions, it’s likely that new permits in certain areas won’t be approved if it passes.

My messaging issues was with automated messaging not going to the right properties.

My goal is to automate the process of collecting regulations at the state/county/city/neighborhood level and create a website presenting this info in a filterable format (e.g. a map).

I’m doing something similar with driving for dollars and skip tracing (recently added more automation to speed it up).

$6,000 STR permit!?!?!? 

I’ve found that automating as much as possible (rent collection, maintenance requests, bookkeeping) makes it easier to step away.Happy to keep the conversation going! 

We are also seeing hundreds of hotel rooms being added at the same time, and STR building permits are still strong in the area.
