I’ve researched this carefully and I believe both Fay Servicing and Easy Street Capital have legal obligations under California law.Therefore:-I willfile a complaint with the CFPB, DFPI, and SML, even if enforcement is limited — because this helps create a record.

I suggest you read your title policy, particularly Schedule B, to be sure you haven't taken title to a recorded easement or restrictive covenant that you're unaware of.
