While Columbus isn’t a classic vacation destination like the Catskills or Charleston, it’s become a great STR market for events, concerts, business travel, university visits (Ohio State has over 60k students), and hospital traffic.

It’s not the classic multi, but with a bit of creativity, it can work pretty similarly.

Ridgewood is a historical area, a rare B neighborhood in town, and not a good rental area as anyone that could rent there is going out to the suburbs (a lot of really beautiful, classical homes).  

Sounds like a classic case of the market needing time to recalibrate.
