The owner ceased communication back in March, and before that, communication was sporadic and the owner was very difficult to get ahold of for updates.

Their communication can be described at best as mechanical.

Do the inspection, communicate with the tenants, treat the unit and monitor regularly!

I have the property listed on multiple sites (furnish finder, airbnb, vrbo, zillow) 2 weeks ago and have yet to book a tenant, but have received numerous inquiries but every time I am in communication with them they seem to just stop responding even when I have an extremely fast response rate.Is this normal in anyone's experience?

I've worked with several loan servicers, and no matter who you use, it's not fun setting it up, but I've had easier success communicating with OnePoint.They have a login portal to track payments etc, like you mentioned. 

It should enhance communication, not replace it.Side note: I haven't built an agent for PM yet, but it's on the near-term roadmap, along with agents for dispo and transaction management.

Make sure you document every lease violation, missed payment, and communication with the tenant—it’ll really help your case.
