California legalized recreational marijuana use can I prohibit it use on the property?

Our insurance company stated that fires related to cultivation of marijuana won’t be covered so .... that’s a real pickle as far as liabilities. 

Its safe to say that the social stigma that marijuana is harmful is going away.Still, it still has the perception of attracting a bad bunch of people and still operates as a cash business.

This or marijuana could restore the teachers pension and provide plenty of additional revenue. 

I would also argue that a violent felony conviction is a greater threat than someone dealing marijuana or drunk driving.Here's another issue: most Landlords will set a policy of "No felonies within seven years".

I am considering renting to a marijuana company in MA and was wondering what you guys are seeing for typical rents?

Tenant acknowledges the premises are designated as smoke-free and agrees not to smoke and will not allow any of their family or guests to smoke on the premises, either inside the unit or outside on adjoining grounds.Tenant agrees to abide by this no-smoking policy.This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, any other substance and/or vaping chemicals.

I have a medical marijuana card so I was denied from most jobs which I understand since its still fairly new to the State.

I don't really care if tenants vape or smoke marijuana (since they are unlikely to smoke enough to ruin my paint).

I would make sure you get a propr mgmt certification to make sure you know EVERYTHING about service dogs, marijuana laws, eviction info, how to handle all tenant issues, like them vacating before their lease is over, tenants not paying rent or causing a neighborhood nuisance, etc.
