agree that both parties are in a crisis mode, tho i'd argue that the left is far more polarized than the right, as far as their mainstream ideology is concerned. more people within the dem party are becoming more and more off-center than their repub counterparts. the msm (and grandpa with his speeches lately) would want you to believe otherwise. too bad repubs don't really have a platform other than "look at these loons on the left." they had the congress, senate, and presidency in 2016. blew it bigly.
