Land restriction happens in a variety of ways. re: violent crimes leading to urban renewal, it's funny, if you look back through history, the only period in which land closest to the urban center was worth less was from 1950-2000ish.

It's the closest ownership opportunity to the west line light rail, and I've been trying to make those condos work for a long time, but it's not there.  

If you're looking for something like that FCI is the closest (there are others like LoanMLS but I know nothing about them so I can't recommend them).We don't know your skill level or your resources.

The closest I've seen recently in my town would be around .5 after rehab and these properties are barely standing, way to risky for me to take on.I've started putting out feelers to locals that I know that are in the business, maybe some great deals will come through those contacts.

We don't have a REI club in my area and the next closest is a few hours away in Little Rock, AR.

I have two roommates and three full units and the closest I had to vacancy was a guy who moved and was month to month and didn’t give full notice and I actually had double rent for two weeks.

One of my closest friends lives in a historic home on the other side of town built in 1920.
