I know it’s a touchy subject, but something has to be done by all abuse and misuse of these letters online and by unscrupulous people Thanks again for your great explanation and sharing your experience 

As for the residential lease, once you have a prospective tenant and you prescreened them, use Apartments.com for taking in online rental applications and use it as your property management platform - it's free and it helps you generate leases once you approve an application - you can also generate lease renewal and collect rent on there.  

Can i purchase these via an online website portal by any chance or does this have to be done in person. 

Even if you buy stocks, which seems totally passive, you must pick up the phone or get online and make the purchase.

@Matt Devincenzo Matt is 100% right, they went online to some website to get a fake letter.

I have read a lot of posts on Residential Assisted Living, that I am considering getting involved in, and seems like many of the posts make reference to RAL Academy and noted that there is an online version and in person version . . . wondering if any of you have taken either and if you would recommend one over the other and why.

I couldn't find much information about them online besides their own blog posts and a few interviews with the founders, who were promoting MHP business and themselves. 

Yes you could find folks on line, but if you develop connections in your local market, you can go back again and again.
