If you are sitting at home, without a job that can elevate your career, or family to spend more time with then it makes sense to manage your own properties.

Having an elevator in an 8 story building is a reasonable accommodation, it's not an age issue, it's unreasonable to require a 5 year old or an 85 year old to climb those stairs carrying groceries. 

I'd definitely take the advice of the other posters and present your documents and speech to the judge and just let them make the call.

My suspicions were elevated when I " a friend of mine" happened to see some mail addressed to the sister being delivered to the unit in question.I stopped the sister one day and asked her point blank if she was living there now, and she said "no", that she was coming over to "hang out" and check on the place because her sister was staying with her BF.  

I just slowed down my speech, but used the same words I would with anyone - just in slower motion :-)But, they're great tenants.
