Our plan is to build something smaller on the land and parcel it up because per the zoning (residential) of the township, there must be only one home per lot.

I've been reading a few ways to take care if it; one if the plaster is intact and not peeling badly, but I have a feeling most of the lower priced homes will be peeling or cracking badly, paint over it with a special lead encapsulating paint (probably the cheapest).

I am asking because we spend an awful lot of money on REI platforms and not one of them has everything I need.
