I didnt have a team inplace prior to doing that deal but doing the deal helped me put my team in place, one that I now use on all of my deals.

Pretty much, if you want to learn anything about the program, you have to tell your life story first - very one way street.

It will also give you plenty of time to meet other folks who have done what you want to do, and learn more about howe to build a neighborhood.

Really learn how to be an operator.

Yes definitely - I feel like people are only excited to share successes but its definitely really helpful to learn from peoples failures / challenges as well. 

Always open to learning and improving to grow the business.

This tends to make single-family a good residential investment because you just have much more control and if there is an HOA, it's typically a small annual HOA on the neighborhood and not some huge monthly payment that can take on a mind of its own.
