But if you can update or add some value, there’s definitely profit potential.Between Red Arrow and I-94/I-196, things cool off a little price-wise, but you still get solid beach access and some awesome pockets with charm.Once you’re east of I-94/I-196, you’re in more rural/ag zones — lower prices, bigger lots, and way more flexibility on rules and zoning.

Our plan is to buy a 4 plex rent/bnb our current house out move 8n to one of the units in the plex str the other units and repeat the process for a few years to grow our portfolio.Areas we are interested in,  Branson Mo, Myrtle beach SC, and Utah (our current state of residence)

Totally depends on the property and some things vary by state as well.In addition to some of the things @Mackaylee Beach mentioned some policies add coverage for service lines, backup of sewer/drains, or separate policies for flooding.

Mission Beach is at quota and you cannot get a STR license for mission beach.In addition to the city of San Diego attack on STRs, there is regularly statewide STR regulations proposed.
