Drive around your area and find homes that are currently being remodeled (big dumpster outside, several crews/contractors) get out of the car and see if the investor is there if not talk to guy in charge and network with them.

I started flipping cars when I was 16.

Our motivation for us to do this is that the debt gets on their credit and if later in life they want to finance a new car or buy a house in that state, they will have to pay off their debt. 

Padsplit, Renting to too many people, trash piled at the curb, stabbings amongs roomates who fight, so many cars spilling out of the driveway into the grass, street etc.

I agree with Bob, sell those cars.

And the moment anyone threatens this system they cry out "but who will wash our clothes, mow our lawns, cook our food...." sound familiar. 

We don't have much debt at all, paying off her car monthly and then we both have credit cards that we pay off in full each month.

As a source of water problems I would put them behind roofs, sewer lines, washing machines, plumbing leaks of various kinds and stupid resident decisions (Why do I have to use a shower curtain?)
