With all the speculation on where we are currently in the real estate cycle and some more or less anecdotal evidence supporting a market crash or still more golden years to come I wanted to know the numbers and facts and recently pulled some data out of our local MLS to get the facts and data. 

They decided to cut off the golden handcuffs, move across the country, and dive into REI.J Scott decided to document his experience like no one else ever has.

I did learn that sometimes silence is golden. 

The three golden rules are location, location and location after all. 

Old money that felt entitled and just wanted to maintain the status quo, and those i would willingly assist in throwing off the Golden Gate Bridge but that would likely lead to water pollution and sick fish. 

I have a hard time not talking when there is silence but silence really can be golden, as I'm starting to find out.
