In my son's landlord-friendly state, half a month is the norm.Right now, 10% of my units are sitting empty, because I absolutely will not rent these crappy old C/D units to anyone without a two month security, 3x the rent monthly income, no history of evictions or small claims by LL, no criminal record whatsoever
