They used our principle to pay other investor's investment returns (which is very definition Ponzi scheme).

It would sound like a pretty good  scheme if not for all the negative reviews on Norton's prior "flipping" systems.  

Here on the ground, the only actual feedback or cancelations we've gotten are actually the opposite with some bookings being lost to Hispanic travelers that are afraid of the governor's immigration policies (actual guest message), but even those I'm sure are barely a rounding error and mostly fluff in the grand scheme of things.So you have a bunch of markets acting basically exactly the same.

What @Russell Brazil said also, I invest for the very long term and so even a major recession will be a small event in the GRAND scheme of things. 

I see both the sub too and sandwich lease as being an advanced scheme that should only be done by folks that have substantial reserves and credit etc..

The buy and hold strategy isn't a get rich quick scheme, and yet some people have entirely too short sided of a viewpoint and only worry about what kind of returns it gets TODAY.
