Some people will tell you that turn key is not a good approach because there is no equity in it which is true, however, real estate is not a get rich quick scheme and you should be looking at the long term.

At the end of the day real estate tends to be so localized it is hard to make overarching assumptions.I do agree though in the broader scheme the problems with the European economy and the Feds reluctance to increase interest rates do not bode well for the macro economy The price increases do make it tough on investors who want to cash flow on rentals, but it does seem the rents are increasing along with the home values, just a little more slowly.

Here on the ground, the only actual feedback or cancelations we've gotten are actually the opposite with some bookings being lost to Hispanic travelers that are afraid of the governor's immigration policies (actual guest message), but even those I'm sure are barely a rounding error and mostly fluff in the grand scheme of things.So you have a bunch of markets acting basically exactly the same.
