Let's raise the standards and value of our profession by being clear about our qualifications and experience.Sorry, I just had to get this out here.

My actual paid professions are Audio Design Engineer and Musician. 

My profession now is understanding people, how we interact within certain environments and how we can truly prosper both financially and spiritually with one another.

There are many brokers and agents who never have to work another day in their lives but they enjoy the profession.

That's how it's done in every other profession. 

If you want to be in Real Estate in any way, commit the next 15 years of your life to your craft and profession.

I like Grant's energy but don't agree with everything he says - he comes off as a braggart and I just dont like people like that - would never hang out with them.Anyways I do partially agree with his stance on college - I went - and spent my money - my wife got her BSN -- but in a lot of cases it is worthless - especially now - In the age of the internet, social media and if you have an ability to teach yourself and network you do not need to spend XXXXX on College -- **** I'll place an asterisk here as it is necessary for some professions but not all - and certainly the educational system has not reacted or attempted to change in the internet age - The present education system is antiquated and just wants to suck every last dollar from folks - It's broken like our healthcare system.  

With all the good ones like myself running for the hills, maybe the appraisal profession will be left with nothing but the duds and dishonest and reconsideration of value attempts will be successful more often...I dunno.

You could get a 3/2 Manufactured home and House Hack that one...your in a good place if you have a Profession and a Day JOB.
