Hi, I am an STR Designer and I wanted to drop some notes on the experiences I have had with a large swath of different owners this past year from low end to high end.I can see that the point when an owner buys a property to getting it up is filled with anxiety, no to little design planning and most have a low grasp on the guest avatar.

As some one with no experience in this field I don't want to get lost in bad ideas.

The ones who stay focused on a single market and really understand it tend to deliver a more reliable experience.

Some investors will appreciate going into a JV with a seasoned contractor; however, if you don't have a whole rehab experience, I would start with small projects with less risk and time holding the property.

It sounds like your fix-and-flip experience would be a great perspective to share with the group.

I would highly recommend buying an STR that experiences high losses without accelerated depreciation.i think the plan can work, but it likely requires combining strategies. 

Since I have construction experience, he’s interested in partnering with me to build more units.The property originally cost him $600k, and the projected added value is about $2.4M.
