The Fed held nearly 30% of the agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) market as of June 2024, with a total of about $2.3 trillion in holdings.The math of this move tells me many people waiting on next FED Funds Rate drop, assuming a matching mortgage rate drop, will be VERY disappointed, frustrated, and yelling "scam, it's a SCAM" wondering why rates are laying flat or, going UP. 

A good first step is to check with the state’s DMV or housing agency to see what’s required for title transfer and any taxes or fees.
