I'm looking forward to a fruit beginning.

For me, the next logical move seems to be to start my own business.I am starting a wholesaling business in an effort to raise capital, get my own experience with starting a business, learn, find deals, and to get started with a long and fruitful career in real estate.

We had to make fruit salad out of the lemons.

My advice is if you find a STR home prospect, to not put all your eggs in that basket and make sure it pens out as at least a MTR as well. 

This concept of hosting partners seems like a potentially fruitful relationship. 

You really should not be buying low hanging fruit properties but actually concentrating on quality properties that are distressed. 

Beyond that be consistent and there will be fruit. 

Then once the investments compound, you can choose to divest it and buy a house with low to no debt, and the differential on rent/mortgage goes into other investments.House hacking is a low hanging fruit.

Something to consider.. it's never good to have 'all your eggs in one basket', in my humble opinion.
