These can sometimes be premium, but have the tenant cover operating costs (utilities, property taxes, and some others), with decent profits, can be a worth exploring.

Perhaps use some of your rental profits to invest and dca into the stock market. 

How can I learn which builders have their heads in the sand and are providing the weakest incentives or aren't fast in lowering prices to meet market demand these feel like the best opportunity to short their stock for maximum profit
