Even with disabilities there's ways to make money.

Would like to rent for passive income but wife is out of work and I’m on SSI disability, so banks won’t give loan due to DTI Ratio.

I’ve found most of my tenants just disable chirping smoke alarms so I sent a letter to them all stating we would be enforcing a $250 fine if we discovered any disabled smoke detectors.

The Fair Housing Act (FHA), a federal law, prohibits discrimination in housing based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, and national origin.

We did that all on W2 jobs and for me, disability.

The current owner has the entire building set up through HUD for the elderly and disabled and I am looking to continue that model. 

Doorbell cameras are permitted on your exterior door(s).Lastly, regarding the concern about audio recording and its legality, if you find it is not legal in your area, then just disable the audio portion of the recording via the app. 

Has anyone ever had their account disabled?  

Demand they find work within a specific time period unless they are unable due to mental or physical disability.
