No I was not a gambler in the strict sense, I never lost a dime in the slot machines there.

Banking on a ton more appreciation is like throwing your money in the slot machine. 

It looks like "average valued" slots in the area are going for 1000-1100.Overall I feel like the CoC for this is a little low considering the initial cash needed.

I look at (and end up with some) properties all the time that are essentially failed flips, where the flipper ran out of money, energy, or missed their profit slot. 

Not many make money until they get to 80-100 slots, running multiple shifts and summer programs.

We charge $2 per load, which is the max the machine coin slot can accommodate.I'm not sure it would be as profitable on a smaller building, but might be worth it if you could buy used machines.We're thinking of adding a vending machine down in the laundry room as another revenue source.

So does sophisticated investor mean "everybody on the planet other than accredited investors" or are there other requirements.If i'm understanding correctly I would scour bigger pockets forums, find the people talking about syndication, contact them directly to ask if they have x of 35 slots remaining for sophisticated investors, then put in 100,000 and collect 8% a year on it.I dunno for me personal i'd rather use the 100,000 for a leveraged investment townhouse or something in the neighborhood of the new amazon HQ2.Also makes me wonder where do accredited investors go to find a directory of these offerings to jump in to?  

I keep the cylinders and associated keys (in the same type of envelopes that Landlord Locks delivered them) in the 4x4 slots.
