I think everyone is over reacting.

I always find that the USA market seems to react more than the Canadian Market. 

Not a native, but I can share any insights here afterward.

Most of Cleveland natives will do anything it takes to avoid East Cleveland, to the extent where I'd say people are blowing it a little out of proportion, but there is some merit to it.

@Wilson Hunter Some of these people didn't even take time to read the story and reacted to the headline.

The town took its hit in the 80s and shows good signs of coming back/being stable...better restaurants than most, returning native sons/daughters, arts, etc and its starting to see significant investments from Brooklyn and Boston investors.
