Because the property management company's PR and advertisement misses several major rental outlets, I posted my own listings and have been forward all inquires to the PM, and from there many have gotten lost in the shuffle and have come back to me saying no one from the property management company ever followed up with them.

If the electrical wiring looks okay, I might not rewire, but I will definitely pay to replace all the outlets and sometimes the light fixtures.

Given a typical subset of requirements, the MLS will be the best outlet for selling property.Of course, there are situations/exceptions for example: when people do not want to let the neighbors know they are selling or deal with the traffic of showings.

Something like an electrical panel replacement is a problem, if you swapped out some outlets, that isn't as big a deal (at least in my area).If we are talking about major construction, like an addition, they could make you tear it down.

could be a wise move to move out of the inner city as it were.. the thing with the inner city is you just have so many potential homes that are really only sold through wholesale outlets as the real estate community is either one scared to go there or two the price points are too low to fool with..
