Man, taking OPM to the next level, I see.The capitalist in me says, go ahead, save every dollar you can, however you can.The taxpayer in me thinks you're a jerk if you can afford your lifestyle and invest in properties.

If you are planning to rent , think twice, most Canadian provinces are very biased toward tenant, you will be surprised how socialist are some rental laws are in country considered to be capitalist.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a proud, card carrying Tea Party Capitalist.  

Europe has been densely populated and has a hierarchal society of owners and pwasants which is what America stood against - Germany is more elitist capitalist oriented than the US is, despite other measures of "socialism" which might be argued started with Bismark.

I am an entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist, so not new to investing but new to Real Estate.

Venture capitalists compete on expertise and adding value above and beyond the money they invest.  

Now comes the venture capitalist type, don't need to gouge them, but give them a start and partner along the way.

In a capitalist society only two types of people can really be free....entrepreneurs, and investors.  

Let them know I am not a vulture capitalist but will give real fair offers.
