I can see it sounds like an auction but just verifying.I know that I've received advice about contacting the "underwriter", but I can't verify the integrity of that advice, so it's very possible it is bad advice or they were using the wrong term when telling me.Yep, bought the property at HOA foreclosure auction.

Meeting material participation rules is also huge, dont miss out on QIP tax savings for STRs, and a good CPA can guide you through all of that.Planning improvements or new furnishings strategically can impact which tax year you claim deductions in and help you reinvest more effectively.On another note, Tennessee is a great state for STR investing.

Using a local bank + bus credit card is effective.questions to ask are, what are min balance requirements, what is the fee schedule, how good is the online banking, does it cost anything to use online bill pay, does it integrate with QuickBooks (or your accounting software), etcChase is great, I use them for my bookkeeping business.
