Ther has been an explosion of gurus selling courses pushing multi family.

Recently, there was a gas explosion in a rental property, that house was gone and it caused significant damage to surrounding homes as well.

Explosive growth of Austin and San Antonio (both within an hour) helps greatly.

You don’t want tenants moving them in and out of your property, you don’t want tenants booking them up wrong and causing a flood, fire or explosion.  

@Matthew Cullum - WPB is completely different market than Miami and I would argue it benefits from Miami’s explosion.

I'm in Columbus, Ohio, and this market is primed for explosive growth, with massive drivers like Ohio State University, Intel, Nationwide, etc.

Though it can't compare to the explosive growth seen in tech hubs such as the Bay Area or Southern California, there are plenty of attractive prospects for those interested in investing in real estate throughout this region.

I just recently moved to the valley about a year ago and I apparently missed the explosion of growth in Edinburg that seems to have coincided with the formation of the UTRGV system.
