@Maxwell Ventura it should have a decent sun set view as there aren’t many tall building in the way.

Some localities will require that glass that isn't above a certain height above the floor will have to be tempered (also true for windows in a bathroom).

Why are you wanting to use glass block?  

The longest run is 27' from a sliding glass door in the bedroom, down the hall, past one closet to where you enter the master bedroom.3) I am not sure what kind of molding to use where the planking meets the vinyl slider base frame.

Even before doing that it could be beneficial to get a contractor out there to quote the job as you'll have his measurements for validation and he might point out things you might have missed (where tempered glass is needed, where jamb extension might be needed, potential one-off issues...etc). 

Is that a tall order?

I go to a lot of the meet ups in raleigh so if you see the kinda Fay ugly tall guy that’s probably me.
