The day I was going to take it to the dump, a Rent A Center truck pulls up.

Keep trucking.... everyone has to learn different things different ways.

We had a tenant who had snuck one in and she got busted when the owner (who did his own maintenance) was tossing out the garbage over the weekend (no pickup on weekends and he'd throw the garbage bags into the back of his truck to haul to a different property with a dumpster he owned) and he caught the odor and opened up a bag to find rabbit cage sawdust and droppings - and a receipt with the tenant's name on it.She chose to leave, and it took a while to get the smell out of there. 

Tell them to rent a trailer and borrow a friends truck because your new tenants are arriving on the 1st. with them there or not.  

A likely inoperable truck was left, and a few other small possessions.

Will either get it for the cost of trucking or for very little. 

I had an issue with rodents in my work truck (in one of the best neighborhoods in town of all places)  and Im certainly not blaming the issue on my house Lol.  

I had one issue where a friend of his dropped off a broke down truck and left it on the driveway and it had leaked oil.

@Ken Vingua  @Wayne Yates  Ken good point about the "Dry camping"  I forgot about the hoboing water in 5 gal jugs, hauling it in a 400 gal tank with a pickup truck, and having a 60 gal water tank inside the tent so I could thaw it out in the winter. 

When a guru come into town in a chicken truck, all the landlords run out to meet the guru and listen to the snake-oil salesmen.
